The scary thing about turning 30, is that you can't hide from the fact you're a grown up anymore. In your 20's, you can avoid it, pretend you're still a kid at heart, but at 30, you're 11 years removed from your teens, and there's no way you can skate by as a youth any longer. You're by no means old, but you're not young either. You're in a chronological grey area, where you don't identify with old or young, and therefore just drifting. I'm not that worried about turning 30, since I rarely worry about anything, but i can see why some people would.
